The copyright on the internet site Climanosco (the journal’s internet platform) is owned by its author, Michel S. Bourqui (see Contact). His agreement must be sought before any copy or adaptation of its design or code is made.
The copyright on the Published Articles, published on the web site Climanosco, is retained by the author(s). The author(s) grant Climanosco the rights to publish a Manuscript which has successfully passed the Peer-Review Process as a Published Article, itself as the original publisher. The author(s) grant Climanosco the commercial rights to sale sets of articles as hardcopy volumes.
The author(s) grant the right to any third party to freely use the Published Article as long as the original author(s) are acknowledged. The Published Articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License (see the human-readable summary): In short, anyone can share, copy, distribute and adapt them, under a set of conditions, in particular that the original author(s) are given proper credit (full legal text).
The copyright on the Manuscripts, Manuscript Invitations, all texts related to the Peer-Review Process (Referee Reports, Discussion comments, Author’s Reply, Editor’s Recommendation, Editor’s Decision, etc.) or submitted in Idea Forums, or any other text submitted by a member for communication on Climanosco remains sole property of its author(s). The author(s) grant the right to Climanosco to post the text on its internet platform for communication to its members (if not otherwise arranged) and to keep it in its archive. The author(s) of a Manuscript grant the right to Climanosco to eventually publish it as a Published Article if and after it has successfully passed the Peer-Review Process.
The author submitting a Manuscript, Manuscript Invitation, Referee Report or any text related to the Peer-Review Process, an Idea to Idea Forums or any text for communication on Climanosco certifies that she/he agrees with these copyrights agreements, and that all co-authors, if any, also agree with these copyright agreements. The submitting author certifies that the text submitted to Climanosco has not been submitted or published elsewhere (except as part of published lectures or theses), and that all co-authors agree to post it on Climanosco for communication to its members (if not otherwise arranged) and, for Manuscripts, to eventually publish it as a Published Article. The author certifies that the rights to reproduce any material that has already be published or copyrighted elsewhere are secured.
For authors who have strict regulations in their contract of employment regarding their works, a transfer of copyrights can be made to their institution/company by including a special “Copyright Statement” at the end of the text. In this case, the authors are requested to include the following sentence at the end of the manuscript upon submission or revision: “The copyright of the authors for this text/publication is transferred to the institution/company”.
