We are most excited to announce the launch of our fall 2019 call for scientists and artists on the theme

Human responses to climate change

In a first step, we invite climate scientists to contribute manuscripts on the science of the past, present and future human responses to climate change, including but not limited to:

  • mitigation scenarios
  • adaptation strategies
  • individual vs collective change agents
  • renewables
  • reforestation
  • reduction of short-term climate forcing pollutants
  • geo-engineering

Manuscripts will reflect the state-of-the-art of published research and may span knowledge areas including that of climate science, engineering, and social and political sciences. Manuscripts should be original and aimed for a broad audience.

Timeline:

  • Send your notification of intent to participate as soon as possible and no later than 15 November 2019
  • Submit your manuscript by 15 December 2019

For the first time, this call will be a joint call for scientists and artists. We invite artists to contribute visual arts along side scientists to explore the theme of human responses to climate change. The call for artists will be announced early November.
