Dear all,

We are very pleased to announce that we will be holding Climanosco’s first public exhibition on 12 June (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.) in a charming little city of France called Bourget-du-lac. We will be showing some simple experiments illustrating important aspects of the climate, in particular the greenhouse gases effect.

Our booth will be part of a larger exhibition organised by our colleague Luca Montabone from Paneureka at the local Nautism Festival under the thematics “The Sun and the Climate”. There will also be other booths on astronomy, paleoclimatology, solar electricity among others.

We are still working on designing the experiments and the booth. Don’t hesitate to share your ideas on possible experiments or other things we could present there by participating to the discussion on the Idea “Simple Climate Experiments for Exhibitions” (login required). Your ideas will be useful for this exhibition and for any future exhibition we will organise!

Everyone is welcome to attend with friends and family! Please sign up or use the comments area below if you want to contribute in any way or if you can come help us on site.

Hope to see you there!!!
