Obligations for editors

Editors agree to commit to the following obligations:

  • They do not use or transmit to a third party any personal data available to them in their duty as Editor of Climanosco.
  • They take current scientific knowledge as the only basis for their decision about accepting of rejecting Manuscripts. They use the Review reports and the Open Discussion to help guide their decision.
  • They verify using the peer-reviewed scientific literature that their decision is not biased by opinions.
  • In all correspondence with Authors and Referees, they use weighted statements of a non-litigious, non-aggressive and non-overly critical nature, and do not address personal critics.
  • They are aware that their affiliation and email address are available to Climanosco members.
  • They are aware that all data related to the Peer-Review of a Manuscript is permanently archived and available.
  • The use of general descriptive names, trade names, trademarks, etc., in all documents of this journal, even if not specifically identified, does not imply that these names are not protected by the relevant laws and regulations.
  • While the advice and information in this journal is believed to be true and accurate at the date each article is published, neither the authors, the referees, the editors, nor Climanosco can accept any legal responsibility for any errors or omissions that may be made. Climanosco makes no warranty, expressed or implied, with respect to the material contained herein.
